Kneel Before Pod – Star Trek 50th Anniversary Part 1

Aug 30, 2016 | Posted by in Podcasts

Happy 50th Birthday Star Trek!

As the 50th Anniversary of one of the most influential franchises in the history of entertainment approaches we thought it would be a good idea to get together and pay tribute to it. Myself (Craig), Sandy, Alec Peters of Axanar fame and Nick Cook who brought us the fan series Intrepid spent a long evening talking about Star Trek and bringing our thoughts on the best and worst of the franchise to all you listeners.

Since the discussion went on for a long time it was decided that it would be better to split it into 3 parts. Part 2 is here and Part 3 is here. This first part deals with what Star Trek means to us personally and focuses on Star Trek: The Original Series and Star Trek: The Next Generation. We hope you enjoy and will join us on this continuing voyage through all three parts.

A special thank you to 331ERock for his amazing cover of the themes of both The Original Series and The Next Generation.
